"Monte dei Cocci" Verdeca Puglia IGP 2022

Monte dei Cocci, pure Verdeca, is an IGP Puglia from Tenute Girolamo. We are located in the heart of the Itria Valley, one of the most fascinating areas of the region. Here the vineyards are located at about 450 metres above sea level, in an ideal position to fully enjoy a good temperature range that favours perfect ripening. The soils, rich in limestone and red soil, do the rest. After the harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery where the vinification phase begins. It starts with a soft pressing followed by the delicate fermentation phase, which takes place in steel tanks. The process is then completed with refinement in the bottle for about 3 months. Brilliant and luminous, yellowish with characteristic greenish reflections. In the mouth, the wine is pleasantly fresh, cheerful and pleasant yet full. A Verdeca with good character, perfect with light fish dishes or mixed starters.
