Ripe aromas of yellow apple, melon and white blossoms mix with a hint of candied banana. It's juicy and gently creamy on the palate, with driven acidity pushing along all the ripe fruit flavors. There's excellent presence and lift to it all.

It is no coincidence that the beautiful label of this wine features the image of a fish. An anchovy, of course. Rarely, in fact, do you come across a white wine like this, with body and character to spare. A wine to pair with tasty fish dishes. Soups, guazzetti and fried food go well with it. But also succulent grilled fish or refined shellfish dishes. In other words... Here, the only limit is our imagination. The wine in question is Salento IGT Verdeca, proposed by Produttori di Manduria winery. In the glass it has a beautiful deep straw yellow colour. A colour that, perhapsby suggestion, reminds us of the Apulian sun. On the nose, however, it reveals surprising notes of white flowers that blend with citrus and fruity notes, reminiscent of pear and pineapple. In the mouth it is enveloping, but at the same time fresh and mineral. A wine to uncork with confidence while the fish is cooking. From the aperitif to the end of the meal, you won't need to change glasses.
Produttori di Manduria is the oldest cooperative still active in Apulia.
