"Alnè" Prosecco DOC Extra Dry Millesimato 2022

Let's start with the name. Alnè refers to an ancient water source around which, in the distant past, the first permanent populations of the area settled. This allowed the development of the community and the spread of agriculture at the foot of the sinuous Vidor hills. Here, thanks to the characteristics of the soil, clayey and alluvial, the cultivation of vines in particular flourished. Centuries later, from these same lands, the company La Tordera obtained the grapes with which it produces this interesting Alnè Extra Dry sparkling wine, a balanced and fresh wine. In the glass it has a beautiful bright colour, straw yellow tending to greenish. The perlage is fine and persistent and allows you to immediately grasp the delicate aromas of its bouquet. In particular, notes of fruit, with hints of green apple and pear. Then floral, with wisteria and vanilla flowers. In the mouth, on the other hand, one discovers a well-balanced and fresh wine, with fruit aromas well enhanced by a good liveliness. A pleasantly persistent sparkling wine, it has a long, elegant finish. Ideal as an aperitif, this Alnè Extra Dry goes well with delicate shellfish dishes. Also good with the classic fillet of grilled San Pietro fish.
