For some months now, the world of Prosecco has been enriched by an unprecedented pink hue. Astoria's interpretation of this new style is Vélere, Prosecco DOC Rosé, vintage, Extra Dry version. It is made, as specifications dictate, from a blend of Glera grapes with a red wine made from Pinot Noir. Sparkling in an autoclave with a short rest on the lees to stabilise the delicate colour and make the whole more harmonious, and a hint of sweetness to make the wine even more pliant and drinkable.
