"Alice" Con. Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry - Le Vigne di Alice

Even if you're creative and your wines are (often) unconventional, sometimes it's good to stay within the boundaries of tradition. Especially if the tradition is as beloved as that of Prosecco Superiore di Valdobbiadene. And so Le Vigne di Alice proposes, with this "Alice", a classic and traditional version of Prosecco Extra Dry. Produced from pure Glera, this sparkling wine is made using the classic Charmat Method, in order to maximise the aromatic profile of the original grapes. Pleasant and pleasantly refreshing, this wine perfectly expresses the character of the prized Valdobbiane terroir. In the glass it has a beautiful pale straw yellow colour with brilliant reflections and a fine perlage. The nose offers a delicate bouquet, with floral aromas and fragrant aromas of white-fleshed fruit. In the mouth it is soft and velvety, juicy and ripe. Excellent as an aperitif, it can also accompany delicate dishes such as tuna or salmon tartare.

There are companies that are able to represent the very idea that created them from the very first meeting. And among these is undoubtedly Le Vigne di Alice, a beautiful Veneto business, born of the initiative and artistic spirit of Cinzia Canzian. Her adventure officially began in 2005, when she left the family winery located in Carpesica, a small hamlet of Vittorio Veneto, to create her own. The area is between Valdobbiadene and Conegliano, where Cinzia began to produce classic Charmat sparkling wines but also immediately started experimenting with new avenues. Her 5 hectares, most of which are planted with Glera, also include some of the region's historic vines, such as Vardiso, Boschera and Marzemino. In the cellar, on the other hand, the most modern equipment is the realm of Francesca Bonicelli, Cinzia's long-time friend and great professional. Their philosophy of life? Life is a bubble. Life is a bubble... What more is there to say?
