    • In the Collalto area, the slopes are so steep that growers must literally climb to harvest every single bunch. This is where the Conegliano DOCG Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry Millesimato Rive di Collalto by BiancaVigna is born, a sparkling wine that transforms the hard work of the land into bubbles of rare elegance. The term “Rive”, in the Treviso dialect, refers to vineyards located on the steepest and most suitable slopes, where sun exposure is total and water drainage is perfect. BiancaVigna, a winery led by siblings Elena and Enrico Moschetta, has made the enhancement of individual “cru” sites its hallmark. It is one of the most dynamic producers in the area, standing out for an approach that respects the environment while using advanced technology to preserve what nature offers. Made from 100% Glera, this native variety finds its ideal habitat in the hills of Conegliano, balancing natural aromatic intensity with a fresh acidity that ensures longevity. After gentle pressing and settling, the magic happens during the second fermentation in autoclave. While many Prosecco wines complete refermentation in a month, BiancaVigna allows this wine to rest for as long as 150 days. This extended contact with the “fine lees” results in an exceptionally silky mousse and far more complex aromas. After stabilisation and isobaric bottling, the wine rests for a further two months in bottle before release. In the glass, it shows a pale straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. The perlage is a dense stream of tiny, persistent bubbles. On the nose, floral and fruity notes alternate harmoniously, recalling freshly picked Golden apples and ripe Williams pears. On the palate, the Extra Dry style plays the card of seduction. The residual sugar is present but never cloying, as it is perfectly balanced by a lively acidity that cleanses the palate. The finish is long, pleasant and leaves a sensation of absolute freshness.

      BiancaVigna was founded in 2004, born from a fortunate meeting of entrepreneurial vision, technical expertise and a deep family heritage. It is led by Elena and Enrico Moschetta, siblings who chose to enhance the vineyards of their grandfather Genesio, active since the early 1900s, transforming what was once a long-standing tradition into a project of excellence that now speaks to markets around the world. Everything began with Elena, who had the idea not to simply sell the family’s grapes, but to vinify and produce sparkling wines independently. To achieve this, she involved her brother Enrico, an oenologist with remarkable sensitivity, and the Cuzziol family, a historic name in quality distribution. Together, they have created a winery that, in just over twenty years, has become a benchmark for those seeking a Prosecco Superiore that goes beyond the surface. BiancaVigna is located in Ogliano, a hamlet of Conegliano that acts as a natural balcony overlooking the hills. Opened in 2016, the new winery is an example of sustainable architecture: a structure integrated into the landscape, designed to respect the beauty of these lands, which since 2019 have rightfully been recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Today, the estate manages around 30 hectares of vineyards, spread across Conegliano, Pieve di Soligo and Valdobbiadene.
