Spumante "Cuvée Sergio 1887" Extra Dry

Multi-awarded by international wine critics, Cuvée Sergio 1887 is a wine that knows how to excite. A special blend of indigenous grape varieties from the foothills of the Venetian Pre-Alps, where Mionetto is based. Cuvée Sergio 1887 is produced, in the house style, according to standards of absolute quality excellence. An Extra Dry sparkling wine, this wine from the Mionetto Luxury Collection is the result of a white vinification of the grapes arriving at the winery, followed by a delicate sparkling phase using the Charmat method. Delicate straw yellow in colour, the nose reveals characteristic aromas that blend with honey and wild apples. The palate reveals a dry and pleasantly bitterish wine. Slender, thanks to the right degree of acidity, it has a moderate body and a fine, intense perlage. A balanced, soft and fresh sparkling wine, thanks to its moderate alcohol content it proves super versatile. It favours simple and light dishes typical of spring cuisine, based on fish or vegetables. Excellent as an aperitif, it goes well with savoury pies and delicate finger food.
