  • Tenuta Angoris is located on the outskirts of Cormons, a land of great territorial white wines. It is located in a mosaic of cultivated land and woods. With 55 hectares - all around the estate - cultivated with vineyards. This is the setting for Villa Locatelli, which also gives its name to a dynamic line, suitable for every occasion. One of these is this Ribolla Gialla, DOC Friuli Colli Orientali, a structured white wine, made purely from grapes cultivated using sustainable methods. After harvesting, the grapes undergo a cold maceration phase, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature for 10 days. Afterwards, the wine is matured for about 8 months in stainless steel containers and, after bottling, it rests in the cellar for at least another month before final release. Straw yellow, the nose reveals delicate, floral aromas of acacia, peach, apricot and lemon. With them also clear vegetable and herbaceous hints. In the mouth it reveals itself to be a smooth and elegant wine. Perfectly balanced, creamy and savoury, with a distinct acidity and minerality. A wine that hardly tires but, on the contrary, was born to accompany an entire meal. Starting, of course, with the antipasto, with excellent Prosciutto di San Daniele. Also excellent with raw fish and vegetarian dishes.

    Tenuta di Angoris has been located in the municipality of Cormons since 1648, the year in which the Holy Roman Emperor Ferdinand III of Habsburg thanked Locatello Locatelli for his service in the 30 Years' War by donating 300 fields in the area known as 'Langoris'. Today, it is Marta Locatelli who runs the family business, thanks also to the collaboration of oenologist Alessandro Bologna, in turn assisted by a dynamic and cohesive staff. The Tenuta's 75 hectares of vineyards are located in the most suitable areas for regional viticulture (DOC Friuli Isonzo - DOC Friuli Colli Orientali - DOC Collio). The Angoris Estate started a long time ago on a path aimed at respecting the environment and natural resources. Since 2017, in fact, they have been able to boast S.Q.N.P.I. recognition - Sistema di Qualità Nazionale Produzione Integrata (National Quality System for Integrated Production) - an agri-food production system that uses all means of production and defence of agricultural production from adversities, aimed at minimising the use of synthetic chemical substances and rationalising fertilisation, in compliance with ecological principles.
