Macho Man Monastrell, or rather MMM. This "caliente" Spanish red certainly does not need too much explanation. It is a true champion of power, thanks to the special selection of Monastrell grapes from 7 cru in the Paraje de La Raja, between the mountains of El Carche and La Pila. Here the special nature of the soils, combined with a dry climate, altitude and extreme temperatures, ensure a longer ripening period that results in incomparable freshness and elegance of the grapes. The result is a mature, complex and elegant wine. Garnet-red in color, balsamic and menthol notes stand out on the nose, along with ripe red fruits such as plums and blackberries, hints of licorice and roasted almonds. Over all, however, it is also easy to discern notes of herbs, such as rosemary, thyme, and lavender. In the mouth it shows wonderful freshness and elegance, as well as a very long finish, typical of great wines. La Monastrell Perfecta... existe.
