    "Cavarnicola" Cava Brut Organic
  • It comes from Xarel-lo, Macabeo and Parellada grapes in almost identical proportions. It is, of course, a Cava DO, an appellation of Spanish origin dedicated exclusively to sparkling wines, and is a super-fresh and pleasant classic method. But what is most striking about this Cavarnìcola Brut proposed by Cofama is undoubtedly the packaging inspired by cavemen, the "cavarnicoli" precisely. Let us not be misled by the dress, however. The label and capsule are cheerful and "outside the box," but the wine contained is noteworthy. Not only is it Certified Organic but it is also particularly pleasant and well made. Straw yellow in color with green hues, in the glass it reveals a rich perlage, with fine, persistent bubbles. The appearance is particularly bright and brilliant, while the nose reveals a delicate bouquet, with notes of white flowers and citrus. In the mouth, however, it is pleasantly elegant and well balanced. Fresh, thanks to a well-integrated right acidity, it is a particularly drinkable wine, with a very pleasant and fine finish. Excellent as an aperitif, to go with typical Spanish tapas or a traditional cold cuts and cheese board.
