Celebrating 30 years of production, Contadi Castaldi's NV Franciacorta Brut is a transparent and light sparkler with a very pale golden hue accented by straw yellow highlights. This is a crisp and delineated blend of 80% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Nero and 10% Pinot Bianco with sharp acidity that refreshes the palate with profound intensity. This lean-bodied Metodo Classico sparkling wine would pair beautifully with raw Mediterranean fish or sushi. With 500,000 bottles made, it also offers excellent value.
