  • Sensations Straw-yellow colour. Intense bouquet with fruity and floral notes that come together in a splendid marriage. Fragrances of ripe peach, apple, white-fleshed fruit, wild flowers and broom stand out in the enveloping whole. Full and elegant on the palate, in which the scents perceived on the nose are rediscovered.
  • Vinification After harvesting, the grapes are separated from the stalks. The juice and pulp undergo cold maceration, then a gentle pressing to separate from the skins. 20 per cent of the must is fermented in oak barrels, the remaining 80 per cent in steel tanks. The wine is then left to rest for about six months on the lees and a few months in the bottle.

    Pinot Bianco Collio DOC 2022
  • We are in the heart of Collio. In the vineyards of the Felluga family's Russiz Superiore estate in Capriva del Friuli. Here the Pinot Bianco grapes destined for the production of this wine are cultivated and harvested when fully ripe. A hilly environment, with soils rich in minerals and a beneficial temperature range that favours the birth of fresh, mineral wines. After harvesting by hand, the grapes are separated from the stalks. The juice and pulp undergo cold maceration, then a gentle pressing that allows separation from the skins. 20% of the must is fermented in oak barrels, the remaining 80% in steel tanks. The wine is then left to rest for about six months on the lees and a few months in the bottle. Straw-yellow colour. The nose reveals an intense aroma with fruity and floral notes. In particular, clear hints of ripe peach, apple, white-fleshed fruit, wild flowers and broom stand out. In the mouth, it is full and elegant, with a perfect correspondence to what was previously perceived. Excellent as an aperitif, this Friulian white is perfect with delicate fish dishes. Excellent, even with freshwater fish.

    Russiz Superiore is undoubtedly one of the most representative of its territory. That Friuli that has always been considered a benchmark in terms of quality. The winery, owned by the Felluga family, is located in Capriva del Friuli, in one of the most famous and vocated areas of the Gorizia Collio. The family's link with this area dates back to the arrival of Giovanni Felluga, scion of a family of Istrian winegrowers who moved to Friuli after the First World War. He was succeeded by his son Marco, an oenologist, who founded the winery of the same name, which over time was joined by Russiz Superiore, created to promote the wines made in the Capriva del Friuli area. Today Roberto Felluga heads the two companies, with his daughter Ilaria ready to give continuity to the family business. Today Russiz Superiore extends, in a single body around the winery, over the splendid hills of Capriva del Friuli. The varieties cultivated are: Friulano, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
