Hunawihr's Pinot Blanc is made from grapes harvested by hand in vineyards located in the Upper Rhine area of Alsace. Pure Pinot Blanc, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and continues for about three weeks. The wine then ages for 4 months on its fine lees before being bottled. Characterized by a bright straw yellow color, the nose opens with pleasant hints of lemon, enriched by floral notes. In the mouth, however, it is broad and silky, with a fresh and persistent finish. A white with beautiful personality, this wine is simply perfect with fish or white meat dishes. It is also the right wine for an unusual aperitif and with medium-aged cheeses.
The vineyards of this fine Alsatian cooperative are located in the municipalities of Hunawihr, Ribeauvillé and Riquewihr. Cave Vinicole Hunawihr is characterized by its ability to vinify its grapes with the strictest respect for the richness and diversity of its terroirs, resulting in a full range of the great wines of Alsace, recognized and appreciated worldwide.
