Elena Walch

Elena Walch is a name that certainly needs no introduction among Italian wine lovers (and probably most of the world). In fact, it is simply synonymous with quality wine from South Tyrol. A family-run business, Elena Walch has always been a promoter of quality and innovation. An architect by profession, Elena married the heir to one of the oldest wine families in the region and was able to introduce important modernisation concepts into the family business, which is now run by her daughters Julia and Karoline. The principle is that the wines should be a unique expression of their soil, climate and work in the vineyard. And that the vineyard should be worked according to the principles of sustainability in order to be passed on to future generations.
