Malvasia di Castelnuovo Don Bosco DOC. A mouth-watering end to a meal proposed by Marchesi di Barolo. The grapes, in this case, come from vineyards planted on hills characterised by medium-textured marl with quartzose sands and very fine silt. These are the ideal soils to provide the plants with an abundance of the trace elements needed to ripen grapes rich in aroma and personality. The grape variety is 100% Malvasia di Schierano, which produces a deliciously aromatic and low-alcohol wine. In the glass the perlage is fine and persistent. The colour is pale pink, tending towards cherry. The bouquet is intense and reminiscent of musk, with clear sensations of undergrowth fruits, blueberry and wild strawberries. The flavour is sweet, slightly sparkling, with a perfect correspondence to what was previously perceived. A classic wine designed to accompany fruit tarts and small pastries. Ideal during festive moments, thanks to its moderate alcohol content, it can also be a pleasant thirst-quenching drink, to be served at any time of the day, even after sporting activity.
