Masso Bianco, Maremma Toscana DOC offered here by Fattoria Mantellassi, is made from the traditional white grapes of the hillside vineyards of the Tuscan Maremma, Trebbiano Toscano and Vermentino, with the addition of Sauvignon. In the family's intentions, this wine represents the natural evolution of the white wines made in the past on Maremma farms. Vinification is super traditional in small temperature-controlled tanks. Then, at the end of the transformation, the wine rests in vats for a period of about two months. It is bottled young, however, to keep its freshness and delicate aromas intact. An extremely versatile wine, it is a fresh white that can easily accompany an aperitif with friends or a lunch or dinner with fish. A fried meal, for example, or a mixed grill are simply perfect.
