"Streda" Vermentino Toscana IGT 2021

The wines in the Villa da Vinci collection are made from grapes grown in the vineyards surrounding Villa da Vinci. Here, in the green Tuscan countryside, Leonardo grew up and began to cultivate a passion for wine-growing. Each label recalls a detail from the Annunciation, a painting inspired by the hilly landscapes of Vinci. The name of the wines recalls the historical, original and ancient name of the land owned by Leonardo's family. In this case it is Streda, a pure Vermentino, Toscana IGT. This very pleasant white wine comes from a selection of the best Vermentino grapes harvested in the estate's vineyards. Vinified simply but carefully, this white reveals, in its splendid reflections, the wisdom and taste of a centuries-old history. In the glass, it has a beautiful, limpid and brilliant straw yellow colour. The nose is delicately varietal, with a lovely hint of yellow peach and white flowers. In the mouth it is balanced, fresh and gratifying. A perfect glass as an aperitif that also accompanies delicate fish dishes. Excellent with a delicious 'spaghettino' with seafood.
