  • Sensations Vermentino di Tenuta Guado al Tasso is a straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. The nose is fragrant and intense, aromas of yellow fruits and white flowers combine with citrus notes, composing the characteristic aromatic profile. The palate is pleasant, savoury, with an excellent balance between freshness and mineral component. The finish is long and slightly citrusy.
  • Vinification Each parcel of vines was harvested separately, according to the grapes’ level of ripeness, in order to enhance the complex territorial characteristics of each vineyard. Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes were destemmed, gently crushed and softly pressed. After pressing, the must reached the stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation took place at a temperature of 16 °C. The different batches were carefully and regularly evaluated and assembled. Tenuta Guado al Tasso's Vermentino was bottled in January 2019.

    This terrific, easy-drinking white wine is versatile and bright. The 2018 Bolgheri Vermentino shows the green papaya and lime aromas that are characteristic of the grape, along with salty mineral notes that recall the beach-front vineyards of Bolgheri. The finish is snappy and cooling.

  • On the shores of the Tyrrhenian Sea, in the area south of Livorno, near the medieval village of Blogheri, white wine is almost a synonym of Vermentino. This variety, as is well known, is found near the sea and is capable of producing wines of absolute pleasantness. Like this Bolgheri from the Guado al Tasso estate owned by the Antinori family. A pleasant and lively wine, capable of enhancing every lunch and dinner thanks to its simple but not banal drinkability. In the glass it is a beautiful straw yellow colour. To the nose, the scent that is released immediately after pouring is intense and fine at the same time. The main notes you pick up are those of white flowers, citrus and herbs. In the mouth it is extremely fresh and fruity, with a pleasant flavour and persistence.

    The Antinori family has been dedicated to wine production for more than six hundred years. From when, in 1385, Giovanni di Piero Antinori became part of the Florentine Guild of Vintners. Since then as many as 26 generations of the family have guided the destiny of the group, which today is one of the best known and best loved worldwide.
