I love the fact that freshness is the calling card of this pronounced nose, which presents cherry blossom, daffodils and candied citrus. Full-bodied and round. Quite long and oily on the finish. Drink now.
Fragrant, with jasmine and spice notes, this light- to medium-bodied white is fresh and citrusy on the palate, featuring a snappy mix of pink grapefruit granita, Asian pear, lime blossom and saline flavors. Drink now.
Vermentino can be considered the prince of the Mediterranean. It is an incredibly versatile vine that viscerally loves its proximity to the sea. It is no coincidence that it is at its best along the coasts, from Tuscany to Liguria all the way to Sardinia. And it is right here, on the island rich in sun and wind, that Vermentino is able to express itself at its best. The one proposed by Sella & Mosca is a classic Vermentino di Sardegna DOC. This wine is characterized by a beautiful straw yellow color, with bright greenish hues. The nose has tropical notes and of the Mediterranean scrub, berries and herbs. In the mouth, then, you discover warm tones of ripe fruit, well integrated with brackish notes, which brings to mind the crystal clear sea of Sardinia. The finish is long and mineral, fresh and flavourful.
