Ronchedone Vino Rosso 2021

Its bottle, important and finely decorated, introduces a wine, the Ronchedone of Ca' dei Frati, which is born in the area of the first morainic hills, not too far from Lake Garda. Here we obtain red wines of considerable depth and power. This is due to the particular microclimate of the area, and to a fortunate blend of Marzemino and Sangiovese grapes, with 10% Cabernet. A wine that cannot go unnoticed, aged in barriques for 14 months and then left to refine for a further 10 months in the bottle. A red colour of beautiful intensity, on the nose it presents rich notes of red fruits, macerated blueberries, morello cherries in alcohol. Then balsamic and jammy scents. In the mouth, however, it is decidedly powerful and incisive. Clean and savoury, it has a nice acidity and a pleasant aromatic persistence. It is ideal when paired with slow-cooked red meats, but also with game, mature cheeses and savoury pastas.
