  • Sensations Deep red with burgundy undertones. Mostly recognizable are the spicy notes, such as white pepper and cloves, in this wine. Aromas of red bell pepper also emerge. Above all, it has an excellent tannic balance that makes it pleasant to drink. The spicy notes persist in the finish. Serve at 16°C
  • Vinification Manual selection of the clusters. Pre-fermentation maceration at low temperatures. Fermentation with natural and selected yeasts in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 26°C. The wine is kept in contact with French oak for 3 months before being stored in the bottle for a minimum of 3 months.

    "Andeluna 1300" Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
  • Let us start with a surprising fact. 1300, the name of this wine, refers to the altitude at which the grapes are grown. 1300 meters, above sea level. But let us proceed in order. Bodega Andeluna's 1300 Cabernet Sauvignon is a fine red wine produced in the Mendoza region of Argentina's Valle de Uco. The vineyards from which the grapes are made, located precisely at about 1300 meters, are among the highest in the world for this variety. Processing begins with manual selection of the clusters, which are then subjected to pre-fermentation maceration at low temperature. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks, after racking the wine is passed into French oak barrels before bottling and subsequent aging in glass. Deep red in color, spicy notes of bell pepper and cloves stand out on the nose, enriched by bell pepper aromas. In the mouth, it stands out for its excellent balance and fine tannins. Pleasant from the first sip, it has a particularly long and spicy finish. Thanks to its nice structure, this Cabernet Sauvignon accompanies red meats, game, grilled meats and aged cheeses with ease.     This time we are literally a step away from heaven. In the Andes, among the highest vineyards in the world. Built in 2005, Andeluna boasts of a deep respect for local architecture and materials, to blend seamlessly with its surroundings, without altering the magical presence of the mountain. Nevertheless, it has an approximate capacity of 1.5 million liters in stainless steel tanks, an underground cellar with 1,000 oak barrels, and space for about 1 million bottles. As well as "terracotta eggs," ideal for fermenting musts and storing red wines. The winery's international success is due in large part to the good winemaking team, which is able to perfectly blend soil, technology, history and human resources. The winery is located in Gualtallary, about 1,300 meters above sea level, and has as many as 80 hectares of vineyards of different ages. The wines made in this mountainous, stony area, with plants surviving in extreme conditions, have great personality. The area, after all, is ecologically ideal. Perfect for giving birth to healthy, disease-free vines capable of producing grapes of exceptional quality.
