Pure Zinfandel. One of the most popular red wines among Californian wine lovers, it has deep ties with our country, and in particular with Puglia and its Primitivo. Zinfandel is a grape variety that loves warm climates and sunshine. That's why in California it is grown far from the coast, where the influence of ocean currents leads to a slight drop in temperature. Deep red and structured, this Red Zinfandel is richly fruity, with notes of plum and blackberry to which is added a fine spiciness reminiscent of vanilla and black pepper. The palate reveals a round, well-structured wine with great balance and a long, pleasant finish. It requires a strong pairing, such as with game or wild boar.
