If today Prosecco is produced in more than half a billion bottles a year and sold in all corners of the world, some credit must certainly go to companies like Astoria. Led by brothers Paolo and Giorgio Polegato, Astoria Wines is one of the most important representatives of this world. Founded in 1987, Astoria is not the classic winery tied to tradition and the reassuring world of old. On the contrary, in addition to producing good wines, Astoria has always been attentive to new trends and keeping up with the times. It is no coincidence that Astoria is now considered one of the trendiest wineries in Italy, with its wines present in the most exclusive restaurants, the most important wine bars and the best nightclubs. The heart of Astoria's production is based on its own farm, "Tenuta Val De Brun" in Refrontolo, which is located in the heart of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Denomination. Forty hectares located in one of Italy's most beautiful wine-growing areas from which all of the company's most iconic wines come. On the shelf, however, it is difficult not to recognise a bottle bearing the Astoria label. This is thanks to the very special packaging and unmistakable style.
