    Alta Langa DOCG
  • Aresca offers this interesting Alta Langa DOCG, a classic method sparkling wine made from a blend of Chardonnay grapes in clear majority, with 30% Pinot Noir. A classic cut that characterises the best bubbles in the world. The vineyards from which the grapes come are all hilly and enjoy perfect exposure, which ensures that the grapes reach perfect ripeness, retaining freshness and aromatic complexity. Production begins with the creation of the base wines, obtained from the soft pressing of the grapes, which have already been carefully selected in the field. The first fermentation takes place, as is usual in these cases, in temperature-controlled steel tanks. The most delicate phase, however, is the following one. After bottling, in fact, the wine is added with the "liqueur de tirage" to start the "presa di spuma". Once this second fermentation is complete, the wine rests on its lees for no less than 30 months, acquiring complexity and depth. The result is a pleasantly gastronomic sparkling wine, which is perfect for pairing with a wide variety of dishes. Fresh and savoury, well supported by a particularly fine perlage, this classic method has no difficulty in finding the right accompaniment for fish or meat dishes.

    Aresca, wine producers since 1952. We are located in the Mombercelli area, in the territory between Monferrato and Langhe. The history of this winery began thanks to the commitment and work of two brothers, Luigi and Piero, who were able to transform their passion into a family business that has been producing excellent local wines for three generations now. Today, 70 years later, Aresca is a modern and competitive winery, with vineyards that are constantly expanding and a good presence of its wines on Italian and foreign markets. The secret is soon revealed. As well as investing in innovation, over the years Aresca has built up a close network of winemakers with whom it has established a relationship of mutual esteem and trust. These winegrowers share with the family business a common production philosophy, aimed at achieving the highest quality. All the vineyards are included in the Langhe-Roero and Monferrato wine district, a unique territory recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
