    • Sensations Atis is characterised by a deep red colour. It is a wine of extraordinary elegance, with smooth tannins, a full body and great freshness. In the glass, it releases a series of aromas over time, ranging from blackberry to liquorice, menthol, tobacco, chocolate and morello cherry, then an intense hint of violet emerges, to which powder is added. An artisanal wine is alive and evolves over time.
    • Vinification It is produced from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Rebo grapes, carefully harvested and selected by hand. After gentle pressing and fermentation at a controlled temperature, the wine is aged for about 24 months in oak barrels on the fine lees and for another 12 months in the bottle.

    • Atis by Guado al Melo is an intense and satisfying sensory experience. The wine has a deep red colour, intense and inviting. On the nose it reveals a series of aromas ranging from blackberry to liquorice, from menthol to tobacco, chocolate and morello cherry. Then an intense hint of violet and face powder emerges. A complex and fascinating bouquet, which tells the story of the territory and the passion of the producer. In the mouth it is a wine of extraordinary elegance, with smooth tannins, a full body and great freshness. A lively wine that evolves over time, offering new nuances with every sip. Guado al Melo's Bolgheri Superiore Atis is a classic Bordeaux blend, that is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, but with a difference: Rebo is used instead of Merlot. Rebo is a red grape variety, created by crossing Merlot and Teroldego, which gives the wine a touch of originality and character. The grapes are harvested and carefully selected by hand, to guarantee the highest quality. After soft pressing and fermentation at a controlled temperature, the wine ages for about 24 months in oak barrels on the fine lees and for another 12 months in the bottle. This long ageing process gives the wine great complexity and structure. Already good today, its ageing potential is about 15-20 years. It goes well with meat-based menus and dishes with intense and flavoursome flavours. Excellent with roasts, braised meats, game and mature cheeses.

      Guado al Melo is a family-run winery in the hills of the Bolgheri DOC, run with passion and skill by the Scienza family, combining artisan production with sustainability. The project began in 1998, when Annalisa and Michele, in their late twenties but with a solid background of personal and family experience, started their personal adventure. Today Guado al Melo covers 16.5 hectares of vineyards, rich in biodiversity. The winery, the result of a bio-architecture project, is completely underground. It houses an interesting museum on the history and culture of wine, as well as a large library, collected over a lifetime of work by Professor Attilio Scienza, Michele's father and a renowned expert in viticulture and author of an important zoning study conducted in the mid-90s to fully understand the complexity of Bolgheri's soils. An interesting fact: the name Guado al Melo, which is the ancient name of this place, refers to the ford on the Fossa di Bolgheri stream, the waterway that surrounds the company's vineyards and gives the soils their alluvial quality.
