  • Sensations The deep yellow colour immediately hints at the wine's complexity and richness. Citrusy hints of cedar blend together with sensations of apple. A full-bodied wine on the palate, but also fresh, savoury and persistent.

It is then immediately subjected to a cold cryomaceration and fermented at a low temperature in order to best express its distinctive olfactory notes. The wine is then kept on its lees until it is prepared for bottling.

    "Tellus" Chardonnay Lazio IGP 2023
  • Bianco Lazio IGP, Tellus is made from pure Chardonnay grapes from a vineyard in the commune of Castiglione in Teverina. We are located at a height of about 200 metres above sea level. Here the vines are trained using the typical spurred cordon system, and are carefully managed during the various phenological phases. Right up to the moment of harvesting, which, of course, takes place when the grapes are perfectly ripe, i.e. when they have developed delicate aromas and fragrances, without losing freshness and acidity. Harvesting generally takes place during the first ten days of September. Quickly brought to the cellar, it is immediately subjected to a cold cryomaceration phase and then fermented at a low temperature. This allows it to best express all its peculiarities and typical olfactory finesse. After racking, Tellus bianco is kept on its fine lees for several months before being bottled. In the glass it has a beautiful straw-yellow colour with greenish highlights. On the nose it is easy to pick up all the typical nuances of the variety, discovering a pleasantly complex and rich wine. Notes of citrus fruits, particularly citron, blend with sensations of fresh, sweet fruit. In the mouth, however, it is immediately satisfying, but also fresh, savoury and persistent. Excellent as an aperitif, this white will undoubtedly accompany fish dishes with pleasure. For lovers of simplicity, this is the right wine to serve when organising a nice blue fish barbecue.
