  • Sensations Intense burgundy in colour, the nose reveals sensations of violets, blackberries and spices. It is full-bodied and fills the mouth nicely, thanks also to tannins that are still quite young.
  • Vinification Short maceration for 4-6 days at a temperature of 15-18 ?C. Maturation in steel tanks at a temperature of 15-18 ?C for 3 months. Refinement in bottle for 4 months.
  • Alcoholic strength 13,5% vol.

Petit Verdot and Bordeaux are a match made in heaven: often used in the blending of the famous French wine, this vine finally takes on a dignity of its own in Sicily and, when vinified alone, can at last shine in its own light.

    On the island that boasts the most hours of sunlight in Europe, this is the story of a winning bet in which Settesoli has used the wise and generous hands of its members, modeled on long experience, to create a label that collects wide acclaim. The result, born under the clear sky that allows the grapes to reach perfect ripeness, exports the name of Sicily around the world, with great pride. Founded in 1958 in Menfi, Settesoli is a wine district that succeeds in the rare exercise of matching numbers to quality. And the fact that an identification code placed on each bottle allows the consumer to retrace the entire production process all the way back to the vineyard of origin, says a lot about the respect for the environment and for the consumer that characterizes the cooperative from the beginning. Research, innovation and love for their land come together to perfection under the watchful eye of the oenologists who follow the winemaking process scrupulously.
