"Bahar" Zibibbo Sicilia DOC 2022 - Tenute Orestiadi

Floral and citrusy, Zibibbo is a very special Sicilian wine. Tenute Orestiadi gives us a taste of it, with an intense and fragrant interpretation.

Tenute Orestiadi is a project created at the instigation of the Foundation of the same name based in Gibellina (TP) in the characteristic Baglio di Stefano, rebuilt after the terrible earthquake of 1968. The name is inspired by Aeschylus, who more than 2000 years ago in these very lands wrote and staged the myth of Orestes and the Orestiadi. The aim is to promote and preserve the Mediterranean artistic and cultural heritage. Tenute Orestiadi is moving in this direction by enhancing one of Sicily's oldest traditions, that of winemaking.

  • Sensations It has an intense yellow colour; the nose has fruity and floral aromas reminiscent of citrus, peach and melon
  • Vinification The grapes are destemmed, cryomacerated for about 4 hours and softly pressed. Fermentation is carried out with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature not exceeding 17-18°C. Malolactic fermentation is not carried out to preserve the freshness of the aromas. The wine matures 3 months in steel tanks
  • Alcoholic strength 12% vol.
