    "Adènzia" Bianco DOC Sicilia 2025
    • When a blend of two wines is successful (as in this case), it is not simply the sum of two grape varieties but represents an entirely new, distinct product with superior characteristics. In such cases, 1+1 does not equal 2 but at least 3. Such is this Adènzia Bianco, Sicilia DOC, produced by Baglio del Cristo in Campobello di Licata. It is the result of a harmonious marriage between two great native Sicilian grape varieties: Grillo and Insolia. The former was harvested between late August and early September; the latter shortly thereafter. Both grapes come from hillside vineyards situated at an elevation of approximately 260 meters above sea level. Carefully vinified in stainless steel, this white wine is characterized by a beautiful, vibrant straw-yellow color. On the nose, it offers delightful notes of citrus, white peach, medlar, and pineapple. On the palate, it is above all fresh and round at the same time. Pleasantly fruity, thanks to its well-balanced acidity and savory notes, it boasts perfect harmony.

Welcome to Baglio del Cristo. In the heart of Sicily—and more specifically in the Agrigento countryside—lies the Baglio del Cristo estate. A single entity comprising ten micro-areas. A total of fifty hectares situated on the hills of Campobello di Licata. Vineyards ranging from 230 to 270 meters above sea level, about eight kilometers from the coast. Modern, high-density plantings—with approximately 5,000 vines per hectare—are harvested strictly by hand into small crates. Our winemaking process is dedicated to the pursuit of absolute quality, made possible by an ideal environment with an extraordinary microclimate. Production is limited, depending on the characteristics of each vintage, and results from individualized winemaking for each vineyard, respecting this unique and precious terroir.
