This Vermentino Etichetta Grigia has a very special significance in the Bosoni family's heart. Etichetta grigia, in fact, is the first wine made from the vinification of Vermentino grapes by Paolo Bosoni more than forty years ago. And, today as then, it still follows the same path, becoming over time, the emblem and icon of the winery. Colli di Luni DOC, this pure Vermentino comes from the foothills of Luni, Castelnuovo Magra and Sarzana. The grapes come from both estate vineyards and the vineyards of the winegrowers. Vinification is simple and respectful, aimed at enhancing the classic characteristics of Vermentino: freshness and elegance, sapidity and balance on the palate. Light greenish yellow, the nose reveals an intense and articulate bouquet, with citrus notes of lemon peel and lime. Hints of white peach, myrtle leaves and chamomile complete the aroma. In the mouth it is soft and round, well balanced between acidity and a pleasant sapidity. Fruity finish of extraordinary persistence. Perfect as an aperitif, this Vermentino is simply perfect with fish dishes. Excellent with the classic seafood risotto or with a rich grill.
