Another Vermentino, this time from a region that is little known, from an enological point of view, but of great interest. We are in Zagarolo, Castelli Romani. Here the soils are tuffaceous and give the wines a distinct mineral note. So even this Vermentino, in spite of the fact that it is grown relatively far from the sea, can still express itself at its best. Le Coste of the Azienda Federici is presented in the glass of a beautiful straw yellow colour. The nose is mainly fruity, with sensations of yellow and tropical fruit. Intoxicating, even. In the mouth, then, it turns out to be a nice fish wine. Well-balanced and savoury, it has a soft attack and a pleasant persistence on the palate that lingers for a few seconds.
