Cantine SanSteva e Poggio dei Gorleri

We are located in the heart of western Liguria. Here, sea, land and sea breeze are the characteristic elements of the small local wine production. This is where Tenute MFR is located, a fascinating reality born from the meeting of two wineries: SanSteva and Poggio dei Gorleri. The former, located in the municipality of Santo Stefano al Mare, has a special focus on the native grape varieties of the Province of Imperia, with Moscatello di Taggia as its flagship wine. Poggio dei Gorleri, on the other hand, was founded in 2003, when the Merano family decided to take over a beautiful estate. In little more than twenty years, this winery has managed to win the acclaim of critics and enthusiasts alike thanks to its authentic wines, a faithful expression of the Ligurian terroir. Pigato and Vermentino reign supreme in the estate's vineyards, cradled by a privileged position and caressed by the sea breeze.
