The company's flagship wine, the Testarossa line is the one that best sums up the company philosophy of wanting to remain strongly tied to family traditions and history. This historic label was created to celebrate the superb beauty of the red-haired women of the Pasetti family. A historical indigenous Abruzzi grape, Trebbiano is one of the most interesting varieties for the production of white wines intended for long ageing. For its Testarossa white, Pasetti chooses to age the wine in steel on the noble lees and subsequent bottle ageing. A French style, one might say, reinterpreted in an Abruzzese key. The result, however, is decidedly interesting. In the glass it reveals a fascinating bright straw yellow colour, exploding with its bouquet of citrus and yellow-fleshed fruit, with delicate nuances of flint. A wine of excellent sapidity and minerality. The imprint of clean freshness and acidity is complemented by good persistence and structure, great roundness and a slightly almondy finish. A well-balanced, rich, rightly complex wine that is destined to stand the test of time. A bottle should be kept in the cellar to see how it evolves.

Winemakers have the task of not ruining the good things that nature gives them. A sacrosanct principle that is even more valid if the winery is located in a place of magical beauty and great vocation. This is undoubtedly the case of Cantina Pasetti, a winery in Abruzzo that can count on 60 hectares of vineyards, between Gran Sasso and Monti dell'Laga, in the heart of the National Park. This area, in fact, is characterized by strong temperature ranges, constant wind and particularly heterogeneous soils, which guarantee grapes of the highest quality. The many native vines of the region are mainly cultivated, starting with Montepulciano, the true protagonist of quality viticulture in recent years, but also Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, Pecorino and Passerina. Pasetti is a quality company that must be followed. It can be very satisfying.
