Villa Gemma is the top line of the Masciarelli Company. The line that best interprets the elegance and style pursued throughout Gianni's life and that now represents a common thread for Marina Cvetic's business as well. Villa Gemma white wine is the result of a careful vinification of a blend of different grapes including Trebbiano d'Abruzzo and Cococciola, which gives a slightly herbaceous scent and a good acidity component. Straw yellow colour with slight greenish reflections, the nose is ample and recalls the white pulp fruit, such as apple, pear and banana, accompanied by floral scents. In the mouth, it is elegant and balanced.
Gianni Masciarelli, the unforgettable symbol of Abruzzo, founded his company in 1978. As in a beautiful fairy tale, at the end of the 80s, Gianni met Marina Cvetic with whom he bonds, professionally and personally. From that fortunate relationship, some of the most appreciated wines of the region were born. Marina Cvetic, above all, but also Villa Gemma or the Gianni Masciarelli. And then, more recently, the wines of Castello di Semivicoli. A small universe of quality that today is managed directly by Marina, Gianni's widow. 320 hectares, spread over 14 different municipalities in the provinces of Chieti, Teramo, Pescara and L'Aquila.
