  • Sensations Aroma of cherry jam, with notes of underbrush and pepper. Intense, soft, balanced and fresh taste, very drinkable.
  • Vinification Steel vats are used for the vinification process. Maceration with the skins lasts for at least 15 days depending on the case with temperature control, which is kept below 29 degrees. During the first 2 days, delestage is carried out and in some batches the seeds are removed to reduce the bitter and herbaceous imprint. Frequent pumping over takes place over the next few days. After racking, a soft pressing max 1.2 atm is carried out. The flower wine thus obtained is stored in steel for further processing. Sulphur dioxide is used only at the end of fermentation and in minimum doses. Malolactic fermentation is induced.

    Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC 2019
  • Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC, this important red wine is made from pure Montepulciano grapes, harvested in vineyards with an average age of over 20 years. Vineyards that produce little, in terms of quantity, but a lot in terms of quality. Vinified in steel and cement tanks, the process begins with a phase of maceration of the skins that lasts about 15 days. In this case the temperature is left to rise, up to a limit of 29 degrees. After racking and a super-soft pressing, the wine is stored in steel (or cement) tanks for the subsequent malolactic fermentation and refinement before bottling. This Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, with its pleasantly fruity bouquet and good alcoholic structure, is the right wine to accompany a good lunch or dinner with friends with the grill as the absolute protagonist. Try it also with a nice dish of fresh pasta, dressed with a thick and tasty sauce.

    We are in the heart of Abruzzo, in the so-called "Terra dei Vestini", an area particularly suited to the cultivation of vines. This is where the Tre Gemme Estate is located. The particular mix of soils, the great temperature range and the beneficial air currents coming from the sea and the mountains are the most important factors for the production of valuable grapes. Today, Tenuta Tre Gemme consists of approximately 70 hectares of vineyards, all of which are optimally exposed and located between 350 and 450 metres above sea level. The winery, on the other hand, is well equipped for vinification and has ideal spaces for ageing the wines. Carla and Anna Perrucci manage the estate with competence and a modern sensitivity towards respect for the environment. Tenuta Tre Gemme, in fact, works with organic farming and is careful to reduce energy consumption to a minimum, as well as recycling resources. But that's not all. Within the company, in fact, there is also a keen interest in ethical issues, particularly in relation to the workers on the land. Sensitivity that takes concrete form in the company's participation in national recovery and inclusion programmes. Tre Gemme wines are good wines that do not harm the environment but, above all, are good for mankind.
