The area of origin of the grapes, the village of Aÿ on the banks of the Marne, is a guarantee of high quality. It is no coincidence that the commune is among those that can boast the mention Grand Cru, according to the historical classification of 1927. 100% chardonnay, this Champagne from Maison Juget-Brunet belongs to the Blanc de Blancs category, i.e. white Champagnes made exclusively from white grapes. Vinification takes place exclusively in stainless steel vats. The bases, selected by the Chef de cave to compose this cuvée, come from the best vintages stored in the cellar. The blend, between vintage and reserve wines, is designed to guarantee a constant quality, regardless of the vintages. After bottle maturation and dégorgement, the wine is dosed with a minimum amount of sugar. On the label, it is indicated as Extra Brut. This stylistic choice guarantees the Champagne of Maison Juget-Brunet a pleasantly mineral profile. In the mouth, one discovers a sparkling wine characterised by a taste that is both enveloping and vertical at the same time. Extremely pleasant, it is capable of enhancing various dishes and preparations. Excellent with shrimp and vegetable tempura, for example. Fabulous and refined with vegetarian dishes.
