Ferruccio Sgubin's Sauvignon Petruss is not a simple aromatic white wine. It is rather the child of variable microclimates and soils that make Friuli a unique and unrepeatable territory. Land of great wines. In particular, two specific areas have been identified for the production of this Petruss. A small vineyard about 35 years old in Cormons, characterized by alternating layers of marl and sandstone, and one located a few kilometres away but on another hill with completely different soils. Once the grapes are fully ripe, they are harvested by hand and carefully vinified, respecting the aromatic maturity of the original fruit. The result is a fresh and pleasantly aromatic wine, characterized by a beautiful straw yellow colour. A perfect wine to be served both as an aperitif and in combination with delicately spiced dishes. Particularly with mildly flavoured fish, in stews or as a basic ingredient in a soup.
