When the raw material is excellent, there is no need to exaggerate. A simple but careful processing is enough to put a great wine in the bottle. In this case, the Barbera d'Alba proposed by Costa di Bussia is also an excellent red wine of the territory. The grapes, which come only from the company's own vineyards, with plantings that are about 15 years old, reach perfect ripeness, acquiring fine aromas and scents. After vinification, the wine undergoes a period of refinement in small French oak barrels that guarantee perfect maturation and good balance. In the glass it has a beautiful ruby red colour, with clear notes of wild strawberries. It is a super enjoyable wine, thanks to its natural freshness and its beautiful persistent finish. A wine for the whole meal, it can be served with a traditional aperitif based on cured meats or with a rich dish of red meat and game, even grilled.
