  • Sensations Enemigo Mio is a wine with a beautiful cherry red color, not very intense. Intense notes of youthfulness, wild red fruits and licorice stand out on the nose, accompanied by balsamic, mentholated notes. In the background very slight notes of toasted wood, elegant, subtle, always accompanying the fruit as the protagonist. Fresh notes of wild herbs and spices. The palate is a smooth, very fresh and long wine with surprising acidity and very sweet and pleasant tannins.
  • Vinification Harvest: Harvested in the last week of August by hand in 12 kg boxes. Fermentation in 11,000-liter fudres and 4 months in French barriques.

    "Enemigo Mio" Garnacha 2022 IGP Terra de Murcia
  • This Vino de la Tierra de Murcia, the step below the DO, Spanish designation of origin, comes from the municipality of Jumilla. It is a wine made from 100% Garnacha grapes. A very particular Garnacha, however, in perfect "Mediterranean style," as Casa Rojo's Wine Gurus like to say. In Enemigo Mío, in fact, the freshness and full aromatic potential of this grape variety is sought through careful processing, in the vineyard and in the cellar. In August, therefore, green pruning is carried out to minimize the vigor of the vine and thus adjust production to the desired concentration. The subsequent harvest is done by hand, in small 12-pound crates to best preserve the health of the grapes during transport to the winery. Then double sorting and destemming are carried out. Enemigo Mío is fermented in 4 different 11,000-liter French oak vats, and following racking in January, it is immediately bottled and launched on the market after only 3 months. In the glass, a beautiful red characterized by a not very intense color is revealed. The nose reveals a rich bouquet, characterized by beautiful wild red fruits, cherries, blueberries and hints of caramel. Then subtle aromas of spices, cocoa and nuts, due to the passage in oak "fudres." In the mouth, it is elegant, fruity, fleshy, round and fresh. Truly an amazing wine. One to try!
