    "M'amo" Malvasia Moscato Puglia IGP 2022
  • We have to take note that a good glass of white wine, especially one made as well as this, is always a good diversion from the stresses of life. And when the wine in question is this M'amo from Cantina Sampietrana, Puglia IGP produced from equal parts Malvasia and Moscato, the rule is - if possible - even truer. Harvested by hand in the second and third ten days of August, the grapes undergo temperature-controlled white vinification. Only steel, of course, in order to limit any superstructure as much as possible and make the most of the good initial fruit. Brilliant straw yellow in colour, the nose reveals a floral and fruity aroma, with notes of pineapple, unripe pear and melon. In the mouth it is pleasantly dry, fresh and persistent. Ideal as an aperitif, at table it accompanies white meats, grilled vegetables and fresh cheeses. Excellent with fish dishes, especially fresh tuna and shellfish.

    More than half a century of history! "We have always produced our wine directly in our cellar, only from grapes from our own vineyards, mostly Apulian 'alberelli' (small trees) over 50 years old, cared for and cultivated with love and dedication. The ultimate in authenticity, we might add, with an eye to the things that really count. Such as sustainable practices in the countryside, with integrated or organic farming, and the use of alternative energies in the cellar. All this in a beautiful social reality located in San Pietro Vernotico, in the province of Brindisi. The wines on offer are the fruit of the processing of native varieties such as Negroamaro, Primitivo and Malvasia. With them also the ancient Susumaniello, Aglianico, Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Lambrusco, Fiano and Verdeca. In addition to the 'international' Syrah, Cabernet, Merlot and Chardonnay that here, in the heart of our South, know how to give life to products of great pleasantness and character.
