Primitivo del Salento Rudiae is a wine that tastes of Puglia and the warmth of its sun. The grapes reach maturity in August, when they are harvested with manual care. Vinification is simple and involves maceration of the skins for about a week. This allows the pomace to release all the colour and most of the aromas that will later be found in the wine. In the glass, in fact, it is a beautiful intense red colour, almost impenetrable, with purple reflections that contribute to making it alive. The nose shows all the best aromas due to aging in wood. Well-ripe berries, juicy plum and notes of elegant spice characterize its bouquet. In the mouth it is powerful, rich and long. A wine that goes perfectly with red meat dishes, cooked slowly in the oven, or with well-aged cheeses.
