Primitivo, in the panorama of Apulian vines, is perhaps the one able to give life to wines of greater elegance and softness. Wines capable of surprising for the richness of their perfumes and for their structure, capable of accompanying practically any dish, even very tasty ones. Notte Rossa offers this Primitivo di Manduria Riserva which is the result of a careful manual harvest taking place when the grapes have already reached a slight over-ripening. This is followed by vinification at a controlled temperature and refinement in barriques for no less than 18 months. The result is a wine characterized by an intense ruby red colour. To the nose the scent that is perceived immediately is broad and complex. Fruity, with hints of plums and cherry jam, and finely spiced thanks to clear notes of tobacco. In the mouth it reveals great body, softness and noble tannins. The finish offers notes of cocoa, coffee and vanilla.
