Western Cellars, in fact, cultivates its vineyards in the Lodi area, in the far north of the state, where ocean currents help create a very special microclimate. California Chardonnay, this white made in the USA matures for about 6 months in used barriques, acquiring a discreet complexity and beautiful richness on the palate. In the glass it has a beautiful intense straw yellow colour. The nose is pleasantly elegant, with notes of white and yellow fruit intertwined with hints of butter and vanilla. In the mouth, however, it is ample and balanced. A decidedly versatile wine, ideal for more than one occasion. Served chilled, it can accompany an aperitif with friends.
