A great classic of Verona viticulture. This red wine is produced with pure Corvina grapes from the hilly vineyards of Valpolicella, located between 120 and 300 metres above sea level. A pleasantly simple wine suitable for a thousand occasions, the result of careful vinification of the grapes that are left to macerate at a controlled temperature for about two weeks. This is what the skins need to give the wine all its colour and most pleasant aromatic substances. For the ageing phase, Tinazzi uses French and American oak barrels of various sizes. They range from the smallest 5-hectolitre barrels to large 20-hectolitre barrels. In total, the wine rests in wood for just under a year. Intense and bright red colour, the nose reveals notes of ripe red fruit, with a prevalence of cherry, then hints of spice and a slight hint of cocoa. In the mouth it is just as fruity, with additional notes of liquorice. A long and persistent finish.
