Ripasso has been part of Gino Fasoli's tradition for over twenty years. Many even prefer it to the majestic Amarone della Valpolicella. Perhaps because, compared to the latter, Ripasso is more accessible. Both in terms of price and in terms of drinkability. It is easy and gratifying to bring a bottle of Ripasso to the table, and finding the right pairing is not an impossible task. This Ripasso, which belongs to the Corte del Pozzo line, also expresses a strong link between the Fasoli winery and its historic vintners. Bright and intense ruby red in colour, it has a fine and at the same time intense bouquet, with notes of cherries in alcohol, undergrowth fruit and a slight hint of vanilla. In the mouth it is soft and velvety, with hints of red fruit. It has an excellent structure and a very persistent aftertaste.
A healthy environment always pays off. Many of the choices made over the years by Gino Fasoli, a strictly family-run business with solid roots in the fertile Veronese territory, are based on this simple conviction. They have been producing wine since 1925. In 1984 they completed their conversion to the organic regime which then, in 2006, led them to embrace the strict principles of biodynamic viticulture. The commitment of the company's managers has not diminished over the years. Relying on solid foundations of ancient knowledge, they embrace, with enthusiasm, all modern farming techniques that help relive the past. "Our present is but the past of others.
