Serena Wines 1881 has always been attentive to social issues, and has supported various projects throughout its history. This year, the company decided to unite two very important values, inclusiveness and sport. From this union was born the Special Edition realised in collaboration with Obiettivo3, a listening centre for Paralympic sport founded by Alex Zanardi. For every bottle sold, the company will in fact donate part of the proceeds to the association. This Special Edition is a young and exciting extra dry suitable for all occasions. This wine has a brilliant straw yellow colour with some greenish reflections. With a lively perlage, it has aromas of good intensity with hints of white flowers and golden apple fruit. Good intensity. The taste is fresh and on the palate elegant and soft, with a pleasantly sugary vein.
We are in the heart of the Prosecco region. Here, among the region's great wineries, is Serena Wines 1881. We are a stone's throw from Conegliano, where the hills are gentle and the vines laden with juicy grapes. Serena Wines is, despite its size, a strictly family business, led today by the fourth and fifth generations, embodied by Giorgio and Luca Serena. Today, the company's properties are divided between four estates, from which a large part of the grapes used to produce the good wines of tradition come. Prosecco, in particular, both in the DOC version and in the two DOCG variants, Asolo and Conegliano Valdobbiadene, are the real strength of the company. For some years now, Serena Wines has also owned a small maison in Champagne.
