Of the ancient dry stone walls that for centuries have delimited the fields and the vines that sink their roots into the red soil, rich in precious micro-elements. All this is Schola Sarmenti, a beautiful Apulian company founded in 1999. We are in Salento, and more precisely in Nardò. A land of great wines from indigenous grape varieties such as Fiano, Negroamaro, Primitivo and Susumaniello. Ancient varieties, cultivated as in the past, and harvested strictly by hand. Then it is oenological science, dedication and the passion of those who work that do the rest. And it is for all this that today Schola Sarmenti can rightly be considered one of the most interesting realities on the Apulian wine scene.
