  • Serenere is one of the specialities of the Due Palme winery, which has always been committed to enhancing the rich ampelographic heritage of the Apulia region. It does so by working above all with grape varieties typical of the area, as in this case. Serenere, in fact, comes from a pure processing of Malvasia Nera grapes, an ancient vine of Greek origin, which arrived in Italy at the dawn of time and then spread throughout Europe. The Malvasia Nera of Cantine Due Palme comes from modern vineyards, harvested in September. Once in the winery, the grapes first undergo a long maceration phase in the total absence of oxygen, in temperature-controlled rotary fermenters. Then, after alcoholic fermentation, the wine is simply refined in steel tanks and then in the bottle. Ruby red in colour, Serenere reveals a beautiful, intense and elegant bouquet, with distinct hints of raspberry and pomegranate. In the mouth it is rich and satisfying, with soft tannins and a long, pleasant, persistent taste and smell. Serenere is the wine to uncork when dinner includes dishes with a strong flavour. Excellent with game, for lovers of local combinations, this Salento red can accompany the classic "bombette pugliesi" cooked on the grill.

    Cantine Due Palme is today a symbol of excellence in Apulian oenology.
