Vigna Tratta interpreted by Chardonnay is an elegant wine, with a bouquet of ripe fruit and an undertone of sweet spices and stones warmed by the sun. The taste is tasty, full, with a distinct refreshing sapidity.
  • Vinification The hand-picked grapes are pressed and the statically decanted must ferments 90% in stainless steel and 10% in small oak barrels, with the help of indigenous yeasts. Refined in bottles for a minimum of 6 months.

    "Vigna Tratta" Chardonnay Tentino Doc 2022
  • One is often surprised in front of a glass of Chardonnay. Because by its very nature this vine is a true chameleon, able to take on the character of the territory, adapting to different winemaking techniques. This beautiful organic wine from Maso Grener is no exception. Vigna Tratta, Chardonnay in purity, produced with different clones cultivated with the traditional system of the "pergoletta spezzata trentina", has the characters, style and elegance of the wines of its territory. After manual harvesting, the grapes are pressed and the must is statically decanted. Fermentation takes place 90% in steel containers and the remaining 10% in small oak barrels. Obviously, only indigenous yeasts are used, so as not to alter the character of the wine in any way. The wine will then age in the bottle for a minimum of 6 months. Vigna Tratta is an elegant wine, characterized by the scents of ripe fruit, with sweet spices and a hint of mineral that reminds one of stones warmed by the sun. In the mouth it is rich and gratifying, with a distinct tanginess that makes it pleasantly refreshing.

    It's hard to be more proudly tied to one's own territory and rural origins than Cinzia Giacomoni and Fausto Peratoner. Mind, but above all heart, of the handsome Maso Grener. We are in Trentino, one of the most fortunate lands for the cultivation of the vine that Cinzia and Fausto have learned to work since they were very young. Because their families have always done it, Cinzia's family cultivated the vineyards near the city of Trento while Fausto's great-grandfather was involved in the wine trade in Faver in Valle di Cembra at the end of the 19th century, but also through school training. The two, in fact, met and dated on the desks of one of the most exclusive Italian wine schools, that of San Michele. After years of work and commitment, the time has finally come to realize a dream which, in the case of Cinzia and Fausto, consists in the acquisition of a vineyard and an old farmhouse to be renovated. In 1999 Maso Grener was born. We are in Pressano, near Lavis, one of the historical areas of viticulture and oenology in Trentino. The first vintage, however, dates back only to 2013 and represents the culmination of a long journey that began almost 40 years earlier at school. Today the company can count on about 5 hectares, cultivated with vineyards and partly with orchards and woods. The vineyards are cultivated following the principles of the so-called "Quality Project" and adopting the practices of organic and biodynamic cultivation.
