Why the name Matto? Simply to remember the name of the winemaker Matteo, who is a bit crazy, but above all because this is a Verdicchio that is a bit different, easier to drink, fresher while maintaining the typical complexity of the variety. A certified organic wine that comes from 45/50 years of low yield vines, but very high quality grapes. Pale straw yellow colour, with green shadows. The nose has wonderful aromas of white flowers, citrus and fresh fruit. Intense and precise, the scents follow one another in a hypothetical race to excel. Slight hints of hydrocarbons are perceived in the distance, heralding a fabulous evolution towards respectable tertiary levels. On the palate it is sumptuous. the vintage has allowed a natural concentration of the sip, so as to result full and thick. Excellent hardness with acidity and above all minerality. Classic aromas of almonds and fresh fruit appear in the after nose scents.
